Chicago FCPA Forum
On April 16, 2015, an audience of in-house counsel, corporate management, outside counsel and government officials heard candid remarks and gained valuable insight on identifying risks to corporate information, managing and protecting sensitive information, controlling access to proprietary information, misuse of internal communication, financial fraud investigation and prevention, SEC guidance and the DOJ's expectations.
Hosted annually by Chicago-based Law Bulletin Seminars, this half-day educational event presented discussions of current and compelling topics affecting corporations and those who represent them. Regarded as one of the top white collar crime and corporate governance conferences in the United States, the elite conference faculty was comprised of high-level federal government officials, senior in-house counsel, corporate officers, compliance experts, global consultants and nationally-recognized litigators.
This popular annual conference provided Illinois attorneys with 6 PMCLE (Ethics) credits, which satisfies the Illinois Supreme Court Commission on Professionalism's full two - year requirement. Different afternoon and morning programs on June 16th each offered 3 PMCLE credits, and attorneys had the option to register for either program or both at a discount.

Annual Symposium with The Judges
Hosted by Law Bulletin Seminars, a division of Law Bulletin Publishing Co., this MCLE event provided sitting judges from Cook County’s Law Division a forum to share their wisdom and advice with the lawyers who appear before them. As panelists, the judges fielded questions, offered candid comments, provided valuable advocacy tips, and discussed policies and procedures that are unique to their courtrooms.
The symposium was kicked off by Chief Judge Timothy C. Evans. Four panel discussions featuring twelve judges from Cook County’s Law Division followed. Top trial attorneys Erika Baldonado, Jack Cannon, Tony Romanucci and Manny Sanchez led the four panels. Several critical topics were covered throughout the afternoon, including mediation, pre-trial conferences, efficient case management, communicating with the court, procedural pitfalls, and the court’s handling of voir dire and juror questions.
